Transactional Email is the automated email received by an EP or a member when they sign up at aiesec.org. Through the Custom Transactional Email function, entities can customize this automated email sent through aiesec.org.
Steps to Create Customize Transactional Email
- First, Log in to Expa Portal (expa.aiesec.org)
- Next, navigate to the left corner and select the option Committees, as shown below.
- In the search box, you can type the entity name and select your entity.
- Then, you will be directed to the below surface.
- After that, in the left corner, select Youth Opportunities Portal. Then, you will get a dropdown menu including Fees, LC Assignment, Campaigns, Visa & Insurance, and Emails.
- In that dropdown, select the Email option. Then, this surface will appear.
- Next, enable the Custom Section Option. This will allow you to customize the Transactional Email. Then, select the mentioned icon to customize the Transactional Email.
- After that, you will get a surface as mentioned below. In there, your entity can customize the details accordingly. After that, select Submit; then the customized email will be sent to the EP or Member.
- Here, for the Heading, your entity can add a greeting or anything your entity prefers as a heading. (For example: "Greetings from MC Kingdom of Sweet Potatoes")
- In the Subtext, you can give a brief description of the customized message you want to communicate to the EP or the Member.
- In the cover image section, your entity can upload a related image.
- In the Button URL, you can enter the link you want to direct the EP or the Member. (Ex: https://aiesec.org/ )
- In the Button Text, you can place a text before the Button URL.
- Then you can select submit.
