What are tags useful for?
The tags feature can be used for marking down specific elements in the CRM (Applications, People, or Opportunities).
Let's say you want to specify a campaign with the date it happened and you want to relate it to certain EPs that signed up with this campaign. You can simply add a tag to these sets of EPs like "Signup-Campaign-Apr-15" and you will have more information about them.
Cool, right? Let's now learn a bit more about how to use them in EXPA3.
How to use tags in EXPA CRM?
You can check the video below for a more hands-on explanation or read the following topics to understand how you can use tags within the CRM.
Adding Tags
You can add tags in 2 ways: From any Profile Page (Valid for People, Applications, and Opportunity CRM) or directly from the CRM View.
- Adding a tag from an Opportunity's Profile Page
- Adding a tag directly from the Opportunities CRM
Click on the pencil icon. A text box will appear. Type down the tag you want to add.
After finishing typing the name, click the blue check button at the bottom right corner of that text box. If you do not want to modify, click the orange cross button.
Note: In case you cannot see the Tags column, you can do as follow to show it:
- Press the "Column Options" icon on the bar at the far right center of the screen.
- Slide down to see the Tags option
- Click to enable it, and done!
Bulk tagging
You can also select several applications, people, or opportunities in order to bulk tag them. Just select the ones you want to tag and on the top-right side of the screen, you will find the bulk actions menu.
Visualizing your tags by Filtering in the CRM
To see the People, Applications, or Opportunities that you tagged, you can simply filter in the CRM by using the tags filter. Make sure that you selected the column tags in order to see the tags that got filtered:
Step 1 - Selecting the filter "Tags"
Step 2 - Type the tag name and select it
Step 3 - See the result
