The power of line charts
The graphical analytics provides you a line graph visualization of your entity's performance. A line graph has the advantage of showing changes in a dataset over time. That means that by using Graphical Analytics, you will be able to understand better trends across time within your operations.
The horizontal axis represents time, which can be shown in Months, Weeks, or Days, depending on the analysis you would like to make, allowing short and long-time analysis.
Let's Understand how Graphical Analytics works!
Graphical Analytics is an amazing tool for reporting your operations. By accessing https://expa.aiesec.org/analytics/graphical and setting up the filters, you will be able to check, in a specific date range, how your operations are performing. You will need to choose an interval to display your data.
The horizontal axis represents time, which can be shown in Months, Weeks, or Days. Moreover, you can choose which parts of the customer flow your graph will show amongst Applications, Approvals, Realizations, Finished, and Completes.
In the visualization above you can see in a graphical way the number of applicants and approvals that AIESEC in Romania had in April 2019 for IGV. Most likely in the period between April 15th and April 18th an attraction campaign happened with entity partners or any other strategy was in place in order to incentivize applications and, subsequently, approvals.
Another example can be seen in the chart below, which shows the number of Applications, Approvals, and realizations that OGV had between Nov 1st, 2019, and January 31st, 2020, divided by weeks for AIESEC in Americas.
We can see that November was a heavy month of attraction, having a lot of applications and approvals, mainly in the last week of the month. Looking deeper, we can observe that the beginning of the Realization Peak happened already in the first week of December and it remained constant until Christmas time, to go up to its highest peak in the second week of January 2020.
